Dominion

"And God  said ,Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

This past week we have been on vacation in Destin Florida. While there, we had a great time catching crabs and fishing on the gulf. We couldn't keep any of the crabs (they were too small) but we did get to keep some of the fish! Mmmmm...

         

God tells us that we may have dominion over the creatures on the earth, but that does not mean we can be cruel to them. He expects us to be good stewards of his creation.

This fish was whole when we hooked him, but while reeling him in a shark bit him in half!!

It was absolutely beautiful when the sun set.
