Brown County State Park

A couple weeks ago now mom and dad surprised us kids with a trip to Brown County State Park. We stayed in a little cabin with a wood burning stove and hiked on three trails through the forest. The second we went on was a little longer than expected and we had to hike the half mile back to the car in complete darkness! On the last day I did get a few pictures. The sun was just coming up and you could see lots of fog on top of the water of the lake we were walking around.

This was a huge uprooted tree.

Catherine got tired while riding.

There must have been a beaver living in the lake we were next to because there were at least 30 trees with teeth marks in them. Over half had already fallen down.

By the way, we found the Durbin's relatives.
